My current general-purpose Host/Ordering Code is:
If you are unfamiliar with when to ADD or NOT ADD a Host Code (sometimes called an Ordering Code) to your online order, please read the following and feel free to contact me if you need clarification.
Host Code - what it does:
A host code will attach your online order to an overall *group* of orders such as for:
- A workshop (party) or class being held by a host (that you may have been invited to), or
- A routine "open-to-the-public" class or ordering event that I am hosting, or
- For a Club you are participating in.
When you apply the specific code for that event, your order will be connected to that overall group of orders, and the host of that event will receive any host benefits (aka "Stampin' Rewards") that may be earned based on the total sales volume of all the connected orders. So if you wish for your order to "count" towards:
- A specific host's earned host benefits (perhaps someone you know or whose party/class you have been invited to), or
- A minimum order to qualify you to get one of my open-to-the-public classes for FREE, or
- A regular order you've agreed to submit as part of a "Club"......
..... you will need to apply the appropriate code for that event if placing your order at my online store. The code will connect your online order to the rest of the orders.
Host Code - when to use it:
In cases where you are submitting an online order that you want to count as part of a group of orders such as:
- When a host has invited you to their party or class, or
- As part of a Club you're participating in, or
- Towards a FREE "open-to-the-public" card class I'm hosting....
.... please apply the appropriate code to your order.
Invited by a host: If you have been invited by a host to a party or class (s)he will usually notify you of the custom code for that event.
To meet a requirement for a Club or free class: If your order is to meet a Club commitment or a "FREE class" option (without a specific host), please apply the code at the top of this page.
Misc. orders (under $150 product): In cases where you are submitting an online "just because" order of less than $150 in product, and you don't particularly care whether your order "counts" towards any specific event or incentive, you certainly have the option of using the code above - or not. (It does not cost you anything or affect your order in any way if you do use it, however.) If you do choose to apply it to your order, it may result in a few additional dollars' credit for me to apply towards additional product, which I then funnel back into my business activities.
Misc. orders ($150 product or more): If you are submitting an online "just because" order, and the product amount comes to $150 or more, then YOU deserve the host credit (called Stampin' Rewards) for free product yourself! And in that case you should NOT apply the code above, so the system will guide you through selecting YOUR Stampin' Rewards (aka "free product")!
Host code - how to use it:
When placing your online order, please "copy and paste" the appropriate code into the space that should appear at the bottom left of your "view cart" page (BEFORE you move on to the check-out process). Paste the code where requested, and then click "APPLY". Then wait a few moments to be sure that the system returns the appropriate name (usually "Lynda" or the name of the host who invited you) to confirm that it's been accepted and applied...... and THEN proceed to check-out once that's done.
Please note: the code shown at the top of this page will change/update regularly, so please remember to check back here for the current code immediately before placing your next online order. Thank you!
