How many times have you asked yourself one of these questions:
- "How in the world can I own so many pretty papercrafting supplies, and yet I still feel paralyzed every time I sit down to make something?"
- "That recent papercrafting party or class was so much fun, and I'd like to purchase some supplies, but how do I know what I really need in order to get started?"
- "Why can't I get my stamped images to look like the sample I'm trying to copy?"
Or how 'bout this:
- "Why does it seem I spend almost all my crafting time on Pinterest looking at the pretty projects OTHER people are pinning that someone ELSE made?"
Well if you can relate to any of that, you're certainly not alone. With so many pretty products to choose from and different ways to use each of them, wouldn't it be helpful to have someone guide you through the maze so you can JUST GET SOMETHING MADE? Well that's what I've been helping people do for years!
Hi! I'm Lynda Glassmoyer, and I help people who've felt they've not had time or talent for "crafty stuff", to feel like artists as they create gorgeous projects with paper and ink. While most of my clients utilize the medium of rubber stamping to create greeting cards and gifts for special people in their lives, I also work with those who want to get started in memory keeping: whether through a traditional "scrapbooking" approach, or with the newer, quicker pocket method.
A technology geek at heart, I have spent a significant part of my life telling computers what to do, so I have plenty of experience breaking complex functions down into small manageable, sequential steps. And now I bring that simple step-by-step strategy to my teaching - to ensure that you can feel like an artist and enjoy success creating the papercrafted projects I present.
It's often said about my classes, "No creativity or previous artistic experience is necessary; if you can copy and follow directions, you'll do just fine!"
At the present time I am presenting open-to-the-public, hands-on card-making classes monthly in the Post Falls, ID, area.... and every few months in the Whidbey Island, WA area. And I am working to expand that into the virtual world, too. I also present introductory home parties, as well as private card-making classes for organizations or groups of friends. (Private parties & classes can include host gifts, as well.)
I am also an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up!®, because I believe that their line of coordinating papercrafting products is absolutely the easiest and fastest way to cut through the paralyzing jungle of overwhelming choices out there - so you can JUST GET SOMETHING MADE!
Within my role as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I am also team leader to the group of independent demonstrators known as Paper Dreamers, and if you should find that you too, develop a passion for papercrafting with our product line, I invite you to consider joining us. Our team stretches from coast to coast, but our private Facebook group, card swaps and other VIP ("virtual and in-person") activities and daily sharing keep us connected across the miles!
